These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sri Hari Sattva Jnana ("Sattva Jnana", "we", "us", "our") website (sattvajnana.in) and your enrolment in our home tuition, mentoring and academic support services ("Services"). By visiting our website, booking a demo, or enrolling for our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.

1Acceptance of Terms

By booking a demo, enrolling a student, or otherwise engaging with Sattva Jnana, the parent/guardian confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms on behalf of themselves and the student. These Terms apply to all visitors, parents, guardians and students who interact with our website or Services.

2About Our Services

Sattva Jnana provides personalised, one-on-one home tuition and academic mentoring for students across various grades, curricula and subjects. Our Services include, among others:

  • Subject-specific and grade-specific tuition delivered by our mentors
  • Board exam preparation and revision support
  • Progress tracking, homework support and learning history maintenance
  • Regular updates to parents on a student's academic progress

Programmes, availability and offerings shown on our website reflect our current services and may be updated or withdrawn at our discretion.

3Eligibility & Enrolment

Our Services are intended for school-going students and are booked and managed by a parent or legal guardian. By enrolling a student, the parent/guardian confirms that they are authorised to act on the student's behalf and that the information provided during enrolment is accurate and complete. Enrolment is confirmed only once the applicable process, as communicated to you, has been completed.

4Booking a Demo Session

We offer a demo session to help parents and students understand our teaching approach before enrolling. Demo sessions are subject to mentor and schedule availability, and are provided at our discretion. Booking a demo does not guarantee enrolment or ongoing tuition, and does not obligate either party until a formal enrolment is confirmed.

5Fees & Payment

Tuition fees, payment schedules and accepted modes of payment will be shared with the parent/guardian at the time of enrolment and may vary depending on the programme, grade, subject and frequency of sessions. Fees are payable as agreed at enrolment, and continued access to sessions is subject to timely payment. We reserve the right to revise our fee structure for future enrolments or renewal periods, with reasonable prior notice.

6Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Session rescheduling requests should be communicated to us with reasonable advance notice, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them based on mentor availability
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows by the student may be treated as a completed session
  • We may need to reschedule or reassign a session due to mentor unavailability, and will inform the parent/guardian as early as possible
  • Refund eligibility, if any, for discontinued or cancelled enrolments will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, in line with the terms communicated at the time of enrolment

7Code of Conduct

We expect mutual respect and cooperation between students, parents and our mentors. Students and parents are expected to:

  • Attend scheduled sessions on time and be prepared with the necessary materials
  • Treat mentors, staff and fellow students with courtesy and respect
  • Provide a safe and appropriate environment for home-based sessions
  • Refrain from any abusive, threatening or inappropriate conduct towards our mentors or staff

We similarly hold our mentors to standards of professionalism, punctuality and respectful conduct. Sattva Jnana reserves the right to suspend or discontinue Services in cases of serious or repeated misconduct by either party.

8Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, course material, and teaching resources prepared by Sattva Jnana or our mentors — is the property of Sattva Jnana or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Study material shared with students is intended solely for their personal academic use and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written consent.

9Limitation of Liability

While we take care in selecting and training our mentors and delivering our Services, Sattva Jnana does not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grades, or exam results, as these depend on multiple factors including the student's own effort and consistency. To the extent permitted by law, Sattva Jnana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or Services.

10Termination of Services

Either party may choose to discontinue Services by providing reasonable prior notice, in line with the terms communicated at enrolment. Sattva Jnana reserves the right to suspend or terminate Services immediately in cases of non-payment, breach of these Terms, or conduct that is harmful to our mentors, staff or other students.

11Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

12Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, policies, or applicable law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
